Producer's Notes: This unique single malt scotch whisky, distilled and filled at Caol Ila distillery in 2012, was matured first in a refill sherry butt then finished in a cask which previously held Pineau des Charantes, a highly revered ancient fortified wine of the Cognac region in western France. The resulting whisky carries notes of smouldering beach bonfires, toasted almonds, gingerbread, charred citrus peel and dark toffee.
