A marriage of 22 sherry butts (20 fresh and 2 refill) from Bodega Jose y Miguel Martin. The youngest whisky this vatting is 8 years old. The barley has been peated to 50ppm.

Producer's Notes

Nose: Intense sweet pipe smoke, followed by waves of freshly cut strawberries and candied lemon peel. Lighter notes of Neroli (orange blossoms), soft toffee and cloves.

Palate: An initial note of dark chocolate and toasted walnuts, gentle tobacco smokiness, hints of caramel and dates accompanied by subtle warming peat smoke.

Finish: Long and evolving with cinnamon and liquorice wood, chocolate bitters and lingering earthy smoke.
