Thiron is imbued with beautiful aromas of mellow vanilla cake, caramel syrup, baking spices and fruity plum jam.

Discover flavours of oaky vanilla, butterscotch, with undertones of more plum jam playing with cinnamon & ginger, and layers of roasted chestnuts.

A finely balanced and complex Whisky, with a delightful finish and the smooth, silky texture that is synonymous with the character of Lindores spirit.

THIRON 2024 is the first in a series of annual releases that celebrate Lindores Abbey’s centuries- old ties to the French village and Abbey of Thiron- Gardais where the Tironesian monks came from, who laid down the spiritual foundations of Scotch Whisky. This bottling from Lindores Abbey Distillery has been matured in a combination of French Virgin Oak casks, Bourbon casks and red wine Barriques of exceptional quality developing a unique profile.
