Flavourscapes Project:

Mac-Talla Flavourscapes is the first in a series of Limited-Edition Releases from Mac-Talla, where we collaborate with an artist to create a visual landscape based on the flavour profile of an Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky.

The Artist:

Marzia Sileno is well-known in the whisky industry as a former tastings manager at Milroy’s of Soho. She is also a talented artist and her works caught our attention. For the past few months, we have worked with Marzia on the creation of 2 x Mac-Talla Limited Editions, exclusively available in the UK. Each artwork translates the flavour profile of the liquid into a stunning visual, capturing the essence of the whisky’s personality on canvas.

The Whisky:

Fogharach is Scots Gaelic for 'autumnal, related to autumn harvest’.

Tasting note: Exuding warmth and a delightful array of fruity notes, Mac-Talla Fogharach evokes the essence of autumn vineyards following the harvest. Infused with peaty undertones, complemented by sherried baked fruits, almonds and a subtle hint of spice.
