Producer's Notes

The original PINTAIL, named after the dabbling duck with its distinctive pointed tail feathers, was fist bottled and distributed by Perth-based wines and spirits merchant Matthew Gloag & Son, in 1931. The label has been resurrected in all its original glory, including is "duck in flight' icon for the bottling of a variety of premium libations.

This is a rare single cask distilled and filled at MANNOCHMORE DISTILLERY in 2008, spending the last six months of is maturation in a barrel which previously held the deliciously citrusy, sultana-sweet andhighly prized Hungarian Dessert Wine Tokaji Aszu - considered the oldest Sweet Wine in the world.
